The Mobile World Congress is an event where people expect news and Alcatel know this perfectly, so the French brand has spared no news to surprise the market. The company, characterized by its philosophy of functionality to a limited budget, presented a new mobile portfolio divided into three device families: Alcatel 5, 3 and 1.
Alcatel 5, Functionality and ‘Social Mode’
The Alcatel 5 is for those looking to invest a little more in functionality. This phone includes Face Key, which allows you to unlock the mobile just by facing the screen, which is a feature that Samsung and Apple have worked on their High-end Smartphones. Even so, the company includes in the smartphone a fingerprint reader with which you can select different fingers to open applications.
A 5.7-inch FullView display is part of this mobile line that represents the best line. Even so, the Alcatel 5 does not renounce the philosophy of kindness in the pocket of its assembler, since in Hardware, despite of having an 8-core processor, is maintained with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage that together with its camera of double front sensor of 13+5MP and its ‘Social Mode’, make the Alcatel 5 a device oriented to functionality and interconnectivity.
Its rear camera is 13 Megapixels, so the prominence is carried by the front camera with its LED flash. In Software, it has Android Nougat from the factory. This new Smartphone is available in metallic black and metallic gold for €229.99.
Alcatel 3 – Accessibility and Variety
Now let’s talk about the Alcatel 3’s family of phones. They have a 5.5-inch FullView screen and some interesting features like SmartCam FaceKey and a fingerprint sensor, which also come on the Alcatel 5. This line is definitely an interesting piece of the mid-range mobile museum, and it is even more important that it is available at €149.99.
First, we got the 3X, a more powerful device with a little more RAM and a dual rear camera, which you can enjoy in June 2018 for only €30 more.
Next, we got the 3C, which includes less storage memory than the Alcatel 3X, and does not include the dual rear camera, even so, includes flash in the back and the front part of the phone.
And finally, the 3V. It has a 6-inch screen with 2K resolution and an incredible double rear camera of 16+2MP, which allows the Bokeh effect in real time, in addition to all the features of its companions of the Alcatel 3 line. Also, this model is the only one that will have Android Oreo from the factory, all this for €189.99.
Alcatel 1 – kindness in your pocket
The cheapest line in the portfolio, represented by the 1C and the 1X. Both devices are below €100. The 1C features Android Oreo, a 6-inch screen and a dual rear camera with 12+2MP. The 1X comes with the addition of Android Oreo Go Edition, in which Google applications perform more efficiently in medium-low range phones.
