One of the most talked smartphones of Xiaomi has been announced a week back, and now it starts selling at online and offline stores. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 powered handset launched in China. But this is not the only merit of the flagship. So though many people complain on its increased price tag in comparison to older versions, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is one of the most powerful devices currently available in the market. Let’s see which version is currently available for purchase, what key features it comes with and when the rest of variant will hit the market.
When we were reviewing the Xiaomi Mi 6 we said this is the most powerful smartphone of Xiaomi ever launched. That’s true. Thanks to Qualcomm’s latest creation the Mi 6 outruns all of its competitors in face of the iPhone 7 Plus as well as the Samsung Galaxy S8. This means the Chinese manufacturer has made a device ready to make a tough competition in the global market. But seems Xiaomi has some problems with the production capacity. Otherwise, we don’t see any serious reason not to launch this awesome handset in India, the second largest market of Xiaomi behind China.
Anyway, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is incredible and no one can argue this. It is packed with a 5.15-inch Full HD screen, 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB UFS storage, 3350mAh battery, 8MP front shooter, dual 12MP camera on the back, Android 7.0, ceramic / glass housing and more. But listing its features in this way means take it as a regular smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is not so. It’s highly recommended to get acquainted with its key features via the Xiaomi Mi 6 review.
As for pricing and availability, the first bunch of the Xiaomi Mi 6 has been already out and it’s priced at 2499 yuan ($362) and 2899 yuan ($420) for the 6+64GB and 6+128GB variants, respectively.
P.S. The ceramic version’s pricing starts at 2999 yuan ($435), but it’s said this variant will be available only in May.
