Xiaomi, without much fanfare or need to role out the drum, launched another cool product via its Mijia sub-brand early March. The product is a new digital video recording camera for cars. The Xiaomi MIJIA Car DVR camera has as its standout feature a large 3-inch display at the back of the camera and the camera itself comes with a f/1.8 aperture which enables it to capture clear footage even in low-light condition.
Now, the Xiaomi MIJIA dashcam is capable of shooting videos at 1080 pixel resolution and has a 160-degree wide angle field of view (FOV), so it is able to properly capture not only the motorway but also the adjoining surroundings. The camera uses a SONY IMX322 CMOS image sensor and is powered by an MSC8328P chip as well as a Mstart 1080p image process chip.
Other features include a capable 240mAh battery, WiFi connectivity which allows you view the video in real-time and perhaps save the recorded videos in the cloud. There is also a built-in microphone to record sounds, as well as speakers. The Xiaomi MIJIA car DVR camera also comes with Gravity sensor, a USB charging port that works with a car charger. The DVR camera also has a parking monitor feature as well as an advanced H.264 photography compression technology which helps keep the video in high quality but also saves storage space. There is extra storage space of up to 32GB but the storage card isn’t included in the package.
The Xiaomi MIJIA Car DVR camera is presently being offered on LightInTheBox for just $58.99 and the offer comes with free shipping to any part of the world. This is a limited offer so, it is best if you check it out now if you’re interested.
